<image:title>WHAT'S ON - St Paul’s Sharing Place</image:title>
<image:caption>The idea for the St Paul’s Sharing Place is motivated by the bible verse above from the book of Acts, where we read how the disciples shared everything they had. The Sharing Place therefore gives us an opportunity to: Share items we have (hedge-trimmers, paint strippers, power tools) Give away things we do not need or use anymore (furniture, toys, clothes, bikes) Make requests for things we need (children’s costumes, clothes, bikes, curtains) Feel free to list a description or post photos of any items you may have in the categories above, without cost. Equally, have a browse and take things, and please post GONE when they have been collected. In an overly materialistic society, let’s be sharers rather than consumers.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Giving isn’t just about money, we also love to see everyone giving their time and energy to serve God’s Kingdom. Many people are involved in making our Sunday services happen: from serving coffee or welcoming at the door to joining the worship team, leading prayers or reading, it is important that everyone can be involved. There are also opportunities to help with our Children and Youth work and to serve on our Maintenance and Church Cleaning teams.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Baptisms Baptism is the milestone at the start of the Christian journey. For some it is a choice made by parents who want their children to know Jesus and be a part of God’s family as they are. For others they make this choice for themselves as young people or adults. For those with newly born children we also offer a service of Thanksgiving as a way of celebrating their new life without at that stage make solemn promises to God. <image:title>ABOUT US - Leadership</image:title>
<image:caption>Everyone plays a part at St Paul’s. The role of leadership is to enable this by empowering the church family to live closer to Jesus and more like Jesus in every situation. We seek to serve through relevant teaching that provokes change; passionate worship that connects us to God; loving care that heals our physical and emotional wounds and through simple structures that support this.</image:caption>

<image:title>ABOUT US - Safeguarding</image:title>
<image:caption>We all bring pain and scars from our life experiences, but we long that St Paul’s would be a place of healing and safety. We are committed to creating a secure environment and operating good policies & practices that ensure children and adults feel safe, listened to and are able to share their vulnerabilities without risk of further hurt.</image:caption>

<image:title>ABOUT US - Our Vision & Values</image:title>
<image:caption>Our Vision is to see 10% of Harrow following Jesus by 2030. We believe the most effective way to do this is by resourcing local Churches and Church planting across Harrow and North West London and through mission in our neighbourhoods, on our streets and wherever we go.</image:caption>

<image:title>ABOUT US - Other organisations</image:title>
<image:caption>St Paul’s is part of the One Church Harrow partnership. We are a Church of England parish in the Deanery of Harrow, which is itself in the Willesden Area of the Diocese of London. We also value our connections with a number of local organisations and charities including: FirmFoundation, Re:Generation & Harrow Foodbank. We are also committed to seeking justice and seeing the good news of Jesus spread across our world, especially in more disadvantaged areas. We therefore partner with some national and international organisations including: Christians Against Poverty, Compassion UK, Barnabas Fund, Tearfund and Overseas Mission Fellowship.</image:caption>

For something requiring a little more energy, Phyllis can be found in the kitchen developing her cooking skills and trying to perfect some of the dishes she really enjoys eating.</image:caption>

<image:title>Who's Who</image:title>
<image:caption>Bruce Stevens - Church Warden Bruce has been a member of the St Paul's family for over 25 years, having come to faith on an Alpha Course. As well as being a warden, Bruce is one of our service leaders and preachers. He is married to Kate (an excellent cook and a former church warden). Away from church, Bruce loves food, reading, jigsaws, quizzes and logic puzzles. He is a big fan of "Only Connect" and Dad jokes.</image:caption>
