  • We are very pleased to announce that Revd Ian Dowsett has been appointed as our new Vicar.  Ian is currently Associate Vicar of St Helen’s, North Kensington, where he has served for the past six years leading a team to replant a church on the Dalgarno Estate, a local area of social deprivation.  He is married to Ruth and they have three young daughters.

  • Ian’s service of induction will take place on Monday 23rd February 2009.

  • On 5th July, we said a fond farewell to Alan Hulme, our vicar, his wife Jane, their sons Ben and Sam and Shadow the dog.  Alan will be taking up the position of Rector of the Ely Team in Cambridgeshire, with Jane as an Associate Minister.

Looking back over their twelve years' ministry at St Paul's, we pay tribute to the way the church has grown during that time with their leadership qualities and God's grace proving to be a winning combination.  During that time, the number of worshippers has continued to rise steadily and our "Church Family", as it can rightfully be called, has grown in our love for the Lord and for each other.

Our love and prayers go with them for their ongoing ministry in Ely and we trust that God will abundantly bless them there, just as He did while they were in South Harrow.
